Laurea (First cycle degree/Bachelor - 180 ECTS) in Management and Marketing

Theprogramme seeks to produce graduates with corporate management know-how andknowledge of corporate decision-making processes who are ready and able toassume professional roles in corporate management.
The degree programme is aimed at enabling graduates toimmediately enter the world of work or to obtain further professionalqualifications.
The trainingoffered therefore seeks to equip students with knowledge of all corporatefunctions and consequently to help them master the tools to:
i) analyse the management mechanisms that govern thevarious corporate functions
ii) evaluate the economic and financial conditions ofthe company
iii) analyse the consistency of decisions made withinindividual areas with the company strategy
iv) develop a systematic and rational method for theanalysis of corporate management issues.
For this purpose, one of the study paths is structuredto:

- providethe required business skills through course units in business economics,company management, organisation and finance;

- studythe quantitative methods allowing students to develop the skills required toanalyse and analytically solve managerial problems, specifically in the fieldof consumer behaviour analysis;

- furtherstudy one of the following fields: marketing, management control, the economicimplications of various production processes.

This pathway therefore has a strong focus on business - particularly thesubject areas of Corporate Economics, Business Management and Economics,Corporate Finance, Business Organisation and the Economics of FinancialIntermediaries. There is also a significant emphasis on the quantitativeaspects of the discipline, something which differentiates it from otherfirst-cycle business degree programmes.
The other pathway - in addition to equipping students with the necessarybusiness skills - seeks to provide them with the necessary business innovationtools.
Therefore, in addition to a strong focus on business, particularly thesubject areas of Corporate Economics, Business Management and Economics,Corporate Finance, and Business Organisation, there is also a significantemphasis on entrepreneurship and the management of new technologies.
The knowledge and skills gained on the degree programme are rounded offwith a sound working knowledge of the economic and legal system in whichbusinesses operate, with the possibility also of undertaking an internship.
