Andrea Ichino graduated in 1985 at Bocconi University and got his Ph.D. from MIT in 1990. He has taught at Bocconi University in Milan, at the University of Bologna and at the European University Institute in Fiesole. He is now back at the University of Bologna, after his leave at the EUI that started in 2013. His research interests are in labour economics, economics of education and causal inference. He is a Research Fellow of CEPR, RF-Berlin, CESifo, IZA and has been Managing Editor of Economic Policy.
