Conoscenze e abilità da conseguire

At the end of the course the student has a basic linguistic and communicative competence (level TEU - A1 of the TORFL). Particular focus is dedicated to the skill of speaking on the main topics of everyday life and on issues related to areas of the Faculty.The students are able to: - understand and use basic expressions to meet practical elementary needs in shops, post offices, banks, restaurants, public transportation, at the doctor's, at a lesson, etc. .., - introduce themselves and others - ask and answerquestions about personal details such as the place where they live in, work or study - provide information about relatives or friends and objects that possess - to formulate expressions of greetings, thanks, apologies - to express the additional time elements.

Contenuti

Russian phonetic system: voiceless-voiced consonants, hard and soft consonants, stressed and unstressed vowels.

Formation and use of adverbs.

Name, surname and patronymic. Gender of nouns.

Gender and number of adjectives. The possessive pronouns.

Meanings of the Nominative case: expression of the subject. Interrogative pronouns.

The construction to denote possession.

The use and meanings of the Prepositional case (singular and plural).

Nouns and personal pronouns, adjectives and possessive pronouns in the Prepositional case.

The Prepositional case denoting the place of an action with the prepositions “v” and “na” and the object of speech with the preposition “o”.

The Prepositional case denoting time (centuries, years, months, weeks).

The Prepositional case denoting means of motion.

The use and meanings of the Accusative case (singular and plural) without and with prepositions.

Nouns and personal pronouns, adjectives and possessive pronouns in the Accusative case.

The Accusative case denoting an object acted upon.

The Accusative case with the verbs of motion.

The Accusative denoting time. The Accusative denoting time with the days of the week.

Animate nouns and adjectives.

The use and meanings of the Genitive case (singular and plural) without and with prepositions.

Nouns and personal pronouns, adjectives and possessive pronouns in the Genitive case.

The Genitive case in negative sentences in the present, future and past tenses.

The Genitive with numerals 2,3,4. Combination of quantitative numerals and nouns.

The Genitive denoting times and dates.

The Genitive denoting a place as the point of the beginning of movement, departing from events, taking or moving away from a person or a place as a point of reference, a place connected to a person.

The Genitive denoting final destination of movement, the location of a thing or a person, intention, the purpose of an action, a source of information, absence of something.

Verbs which require the use of the Genitive case after them.

The verb. First and second conjugation of the verb, present tense.

The past tense of the verbs.

Transitive and intransitive verbs. Conjugation of the verbs with the particle–sja.

The verbs denoting study.

Some irregular verbs.

Forms of the future tense. Formation of aspectual pairs of verbs.

Verbal aspect: meanings and formation. Meanings of imperfective verbs denoting the name of an action, an action as a process, a recurrent action or simultaneous actions. Meanings of perfective verbs denoting an action completed with a result and a single momentary action.

Imperfective verbs of motion without prefixes in the present, future and past tenses.

At the end of the course students will be able to develop the linguistic, communicative and intercultural competences. Develop the skills of oral and written comprehension, oral and written expression. Consolidate the word-study of the political language. Develop the ability to search and elaborate material about the historical, cultural, economic and geo-political aspects of the country.

Metodi didattici

The course in articulated in 70 hours of frontal lesson, in which the linguistic theorical competences are mainly developed.

Lexical and grammar practice,  will be developed with Prof. Berardi Simona (30 hours).

Oral practice and writing skills, reading and oral comprehension will be developed with Prof. Buglakova Liudmila (40 hours) and are an essential part of the teaching and exam programs.

Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento

Students are required to take four mid-term written exams and an oral test.

The written exams consist of a grammar test on the topics explained during the lessons. The written exam is a prerequisite to the oral exam.

The oral exam is focused on the communicative competences, on the ability of oral expression. In particular: the student must be able to introduce himself, to talk about himself and his family, his typical day, his language skills, his study or profession, his interests and the city in which he lives.

The final grade is the result of the average between the mid-term tests and the oral exam.
