Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student knows the most common operational realities in which the veterinary surgeon has to practice the profession

Course contents

The teaching module aims to show first year students some realities in which the veterinarian has to operate. The aim is to create greater congruence and awareness with what is studied in the so-called "preparatory" subjects. The program will be extremely flexible and built with the students on the basis of their needs. The Teaching Hospital and the DIMEVET experimental stable will be visited, and situations will be created which may introduce the professional problems of the veterinary surgeon. The program involves interaction with chemistry and anatomy teachers to approach some topics of their teachings in a joint and integrated way.
