He graduated cum laude in 2010 from the University of Bari, where he subsequently obtained a 3-year degree of Specialization. Concurrently, he completed a 1-year Rotating Internship during which he found out his passion for cardiology. He continued his training in this field by completing a 1-year Specialty Internship (Cardiology), followed by a PhD program focused on cardiology at Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences (DIMEVET) of the University of Bologna and, later, a Master at the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Science and Public Health of the University of Padova. Subsequently, he completed a Residency in Cardiology under the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine shared between the Universities of Bologna and Zurich, becoming a Cardiology Diplomate in 2021. Since 2014 he works at the DIMEVET carrying out clinical, teaching and research activities mainly related to cardiology, currently as Senior Assistant Professor. He has been speaker at scientific meetings and University Masters, and author and reviewer of publications in national and international scientific journals.
