!!!Requirement for students to attend a health and safety training in order to take part in in-class lessons!!!

As concerns the teaching methods of this course unit, all students must attend Module 1, 2 [https://www.unibo.it/en/services-and-opportunities/health-and-assistance/health-and-safety/online-course-on-health-and-safety-in-study-and-internship-areas] on Health and Safety online

Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento

Discussion at the end of each activity. Lab activities can be used by teachers to enhance intended learning outcomes of the integrated course.

Cellular Molecular Biology and Genetics (I.C.)

Cellular Biology and Genetics + lab: the final examination consists of an oral dissertation (two questions randomly selected) to assess achievement of the skills detailed in the learning outcomes. The student is asked to demonstrate skills in terms of synthesis, analysis and critical appraisal of the topics covered in the course.

Molecular Biology: The students will be evaluated by oral exams on the basis of two or more questions on the topics described during the course. The first question/topic will be chosen by the student, whereas the other questions/topics will be chosen by the Professor. At the end of the examination, the Professor will score the performance of the student using a number ranging from 18 to 30.

The final mark will be determined as weighted average mark (weights are the relative course credits).

E.g.

Cellular Biology and Genetics + lab (7+1 credits): 27/30

Molecular Biology (2 credits): 30/30

Weighted average mark: (27*8)+(30*2) / 10 = 27.6

Final mark: 28/30
