Learning outcomes

At the end of this course, students will be able to: • Demonstrate an understanding of key social issues in sport, exercise and wellness. • Apply wider social issues to case study examples within sport and physical activity contexts • Demonstrate an understanding of important sociological concepts such as body image, nationality, ethnicity, gender, culture, family, socialisation, inclusion and integration as applied to sport and physical activity.
