Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the elective course, students will be able to:
- Understand the diagnostic and treatment issues inherent to the various branches of maxillofacial pathology and master the methods of applying new technologies to these pathologies.
- Identify and propose the application of the most appropriate diagnostic tool and treatment method to a given pathology.
- Critically analyze functional issues related to neoplastic, malformative and trauma pathology of the face.
- Communicate with the medical community the principles of diagnosis and treatment proposed for the pathologies addressed in the course.

- AUGMENTED REALITY IN MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY

Assessment methods

The student who demonstrates, during the course, an exhaustive understanding of the topics covered, ability to make autonomous choices of critical analysis and linking, mastery of specific terminology and argumentation skills will be judged to have passed the course. No examination is required.

Attendance at least 75 percent of the lectures is required to pass the course.
