Short Bio

Prof. Giovanni Badiali carries out his research activity in the field of Maxillofacial Surgery, with particular interest for Surgery of Congenital and Aquired Malformations of the Face (Adult/Child/Unfavorable Outcomes of Trauma) and skeletal therapy of Sleep Apneas. More specifically, he is interested in Computer-Assisted Diagnosis and Planning of surgical treatment, 3D-Printing for surgery, computerized Biomodels of Normal and Pathological Anatomy of the Face, Surgical Navigation and Augmented Reality as innovative navigation technology for the head-neck district (European Project VOSTARS - HORIZON 2020).
