Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is able to grasp the effects that neurological damage and pathologies have on the cognitive-behavioral sphere. The student is also able to recognize, evaluate and differentiate the various neuropsychological disorders and to structure a speech therapy treatment plan.

- Introduction to the basic concepts for the approach to adult cognitive disorders

- Attention

- Memory

- Neglect

- Apraxia

- Executive functions

For each topic introduced, the neuro-anatomical sites involved, the evaluation methodology and the rehabilitative treatment will be studied.
