Course contents

The training is organized on monthly rota (with the exception of August, October and November) for a maximum 10 students per month. 

Main activities:

  • Practical activities at the teaching dairy farm of the University
  • Visits to feed industries, dairy industries, swine and cattle farms.
  • Use of software for rationing, monitoring and management of dairy herds.
  • Small animal clinical nutrition
  • Aquaculture
  • Insight into canine and feline ethnography.

The calendar of activities will be published at the beginning of each month during an opening meeting, the first working-day of each month.

Teaching methods

Practical activities and specialized seminars, more than autonomous supplementary work.

In case of emergency, acitivities will be performed by remote learning platforms.

Assessment methods

Each teacher will assess time by time the acquisition of related skills.

The attendance of at least the 75% of the activities, and the acquisition of related ability, is necessary to obtain eligibility of the training.
