Assistant professor working in the Subject Area SSD 07/AGRI-09/A, formerly AGR/17. Current interests are on: i) dairy cattle breeding and genetics, ii) identification and study of novel phenotypes for health and efficiency of cows and calves, iii) exploration of milk indicator traits for udder health evaluation, iv) milk quality in cattle and buffalo, v) physiological link between colostrum quality and yield and interaction dam-calf for passive transfer of immunity.
