Learning outcomes
Internship 2, after the student's inclusion in Internship 1 in the clinical reality of a dental structure, aims to expand the tools necessary for participation as a member of the dental team. In particular, the student is able to: attend a dental department by becoming an active part; apply the acquired professional knowledge; relate to the patients who belong to the department and follow them with regard to the skills of the dental hygienist
Course contents
The student learns to program the oral hygiene therapeutic procedure and plan the treatment, remove and control any soft or mineralized deposits both supra and subgingival and the topical application of the various prophylactic means to prevent, control and reduce oral-dental pathologies in the different clinical scenarios.
