Learning outcomes

By the end of the internship, students will:

- mature experience in a specific working context, chosen among entities in the various fields of artistic production;

- acquire basic skills on specific aspects of artistic production in various social realities, such as cataloging and digitizing of photographic and artistic heritage and teamwork;

- be able to self-evaluate their own interests and capabilities

Course contents

Internship is a training experience for students (enrolled in Degree Courses, Bachelor's or Master's Degrees) at the University departments (Departments, Centers, etc.) or at external entities contracted with the University. In the first case, relationships are governed by internal agreements between the offices, in the second case the relationships with non-university entities (public and private companies, associations, category associations, etc.) are governed by specific conventions.

The duration of the internship is 150 hours.

The internship activities will be specified from time to time by the host institution, respecting the 150 hours.

Assessment methods

Students attending the internship will not obtain marks but only a suitability judgment by the supervisor on the basis of the documentation attesting to the internship activity (exams booklet/diary, final statement of the hosting body, final report of the student).

It will be verbalized under the same procedures as a regular examination, on the exam dates throughout the year, published on Alma Exams webpages.

During the internship, students are required to bring the exams booklet/diary retired at the didactic office after the activation procedure; the diary will report the days of stay at the institution, the daily hours and the activities carried out.

The tutor of the institution, company or department shall sign and stamp each filled in page of the diary. Students are required to sign up for the exam dates and bring up the booklet-diary as well was the

references provided by the hosting structure and a personal report of the experience. The verbalization of the internship is a requirement for the final exam. Students who don’t verbalize the outcome within the required deadlines, will be not admitted to the final degree examination.

At the end of each procedure, students shall keep their diary-booklet (not required to give it back to the teacher or the didactic office).
