Laurea Magistrale (Second cycle degree/Two year Master - 120 ECTS) in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering for Energy

The Second Cycle Degree/two year Master Programme in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering for Energy has been created in order to provide students with a high level of cultural an professional training in order to performhighly-qualified activities in the disciplinary areas of electronics and telecommunications engineering. Students will study applications aimed at the efficient use of energy and environmental resources, including electronic systems and equipment for energy generation as well as telecommunications networks and sensors to monitor the environment.

Graduates of the Second Cycle Degree/two year Master Programme in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering for Energy have a high level of cultural and professional training from a functional, constructive, management and economic point of view:
- in relation to the specific materials of this class
- in relation to the innovative design of electronic devices and components
- in relation to electronic systems for the generation and processing of electric signals
- in relation totelecommunications systems and networks
- in relation to ICT technologies for the generation and efficient use of energy
- in relation to ICT technologies for monitoring and controlling the environment.
The aim of the Second Cycle Degree/two year Master Programme in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering for Energy is to produce technical managers qualified to work in positions of responsibility in the field of design, management, coordination and development of industrial and/or research activities in public or private companies and organisations, as well as to offer high-level services as a freelance professional. Career prospects include the possibility of working for companies that specifically operate in the fields of electronics and communications, in the application of ICT technologies related to energy efficiency and the environment, and invarious industries and companies that offer highly technological services.
In each of the five learning areas indicated above, students will undertake extensive laboratory work that will allow them to gain a deeper understanding of the applicative aspects of the discipline. Students may also undertake internships through the collaboration agreements in place with national public and private organisations.
