Short Bio

Enrico M. Vitucci is an associate professor at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering (DEI) of the University of Bologna. Formerly, he was an assistant professor at DEI from 2017 until 2021, and Research Associate at the Center for Industrial Research on ICT (CIRI ICT) from 2011 until 2016. In 2007, he was an invited reasearcher at Aalto University, Finland. In 2016, he was a visiting researcher at Polaris Wireless, Mountain View, California (USA). He is author or co-author of about 100 publications on international journals and conferences. His research interests are in mobile radio propagation, deterministic and hybrid channel models. He participated in the European Cooperation Actions COST 2100, IC1004, IRACON, and INTERACT, in the Networks of Excellence NEWCOM and NEWCOM++, and in the European Project ALPHA. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal "Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing". He serves as TPC member and reviewer for a number of international conferences and journals including several IEEE Transactions.
