Alberto Bellini is an associate professor of electric machines and drives.
His main research interests are in the area of power conversion and generation from renewable energy sources, of electric drives and diagnosis of electric machines, and of circular economy.
He was technical chair for IEEE SDEMPED 2009 and 2011. He is a member of the steering committee of IEEE SDEMPED. He was guest editor of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics in 2008 and 2009.
He was project manager for european project Life+ RELS.
He his delegate of Dean for EIT climate-KIC since 2016.
Since 2018, he is the project coordinator of eCircular (EIT Climate-KIC Loop Flagship), a program that promotes circular economy by digital technologies.
He is author or co-author of more than 100 scientific papers (2 bookchapters, 28 ISI journal papers), published on international journals or conferences proceedings, of three patents, a textbook and a book.
