Contenuti
The course develops and applies tools of Economics of Information and Incentives for a deep understanding of financial markets and their interaction with the real economy.
It will cover the following topics:
- The economics of lender-borrower relationship: Theory of financial contracts, equilibrium and constrained efficiency in credit markets;
- The role for and theory of financial intermediaries;
- Credit cycles and real cycles;
- Liquidity, asset prices and real cycles.
