Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student possesses the knowledge and ability to understand the main theories of learning and communication processes in order to establish with the patient, with his / her close and with other professionals, a conscious relationship inspired by ' the idea of a lifelong education.

Course contents

The course aims to draw the student's attention to focus on the elements of complexity of educational and care relationships and the correspondent training model, through the analysis of two disciplinary perspectives: the pedagogical and the medical sciences in order to understand their connections and differences, to open up reflections suggesting directions for commitment to care in the health care field. It is expected the alternation between moments of theoretical training and re-elaboration of knowledge in activity of workshop.
