Course contents
Lessons will analyse some of the main movies about criminal procedure.
The course programme is:
25th of February 2019: Anatomy of a Murder (Otto Preminger, 1959);
4th of March 2019: The Conspirator (Robert Redford, 2010);
11th of March 2019: King and Country (Joseph Losey, 1964);
18th of March 2019: Knock on Any Door (Nicholas Ray, 1949);
25th of March 2019: Pasolini un delitto italiano (Marco Tullio Giordana, 1995);
1st of April 2019: Sacco eVanzetti (Giuliano Montaldo, 1971).
Each lesson will take place in via Belmeloro 14, room P, at 16.00, except lesson of 11th of March, which will take place in room L, at 16.00Readings/Bibliography
Notes from lessons
Teaching methods
During each lesson a movie about criminal trials will be shown. A pubblic discussion will take place afterwards.
Assessment methods
They will consist of an oral examination on the mentioned topics.
