Conoscenze e abilità da conseguire

By the end of the course students will have a thorough knowledge of the practical activities relating to the work of the archaeologist through field work experience in public bodies (Museums, Superintendencies for the archaeological heritage, Local Institutes responsible for protection of the Cultural Heritage, Bodies organizing events related to archaeological tourism, specialized publishing in the archaeological sector). They will acquire knowledge related to practical activities and develop an independence of judgment when it comes to solving specific problems, or proposing specific projects or research work. Likewise, they will be able to communicate to a diverse public, as well as apply and update their skills within the three areas envisaged by the Programme: historical-artistic and epigraphic, with particular reference to methodology.

Contenuti

The curricular internship is an activity of your study plan that allows you to achieve practical skills and university credits (CFU). You may carry it out either at premises of the University of Bologna or at external public or private institutions that have signed an internship agreement with the University, in Italy or abroad.

It may also be carried out by selecting a host institution abroad and following the procedure described at the website of your course of study, at Studying/Internship page, and accessing SOL-Internship [https://studenti.unibo.it/sol/welcome.htm] platform.

No specific bibliographic study is required beyond the activities included in the internship.

There are no recommended texts in advance, but any necessary readings will be indicated by the host institution as needed.

Metodi didattici

To be agreed on a case-by-case basis according to the internship experience planned.

Given the nature of the activity and the teaching methods involved, participation in this training activity requires all students to have previously completed Modules 1 and 2 of the online training on health and safety in study environments [http://https//elearning-sicurezza.unibo.it/], as required by host institutions for insurance purposes.

Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento

At the end of the internship, your academic tutor will evaluate the activity. With positive evaluation, the teaching activity will be registered in your career as ID.

In case of an internship abroad in the frame of an Erasmus+ mobility for traineeship programme, the teaching activity will be registered in your career as ID.
