Conoscenze e abilità da conseguire

The course is intended to extend knowledge on application fields and needs of evolving communication scenarios, to practice and develop interaction skills with lecturer and team working, to stimulate active learning.

Contenuti

The goals of the course are to teach students the fundamentals of Bayesian filtering including the concepts of recursive estimation of unknown processes from observed processes. The students will study various approaches to filtering and will learn how to apply them in real-world problems.

Metodi didattici

The course will be offered online in a synchronous mode. The instructor will be presenting the planned topics and the students will have the opportunity to interrupt and ask questions during the lectures.  

Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento

The students will work on projects where they will demonstrate their ability to implement specific Bayesian  filtering methods.
