Learning outcomes

Students are in command of the basic strategies requested from liason interpreters and know how to use them in simple interacting sessions

Course contents

Aim of the course is to improve the skills and abilities the learners have developed in the previous academic terms, i.e. : terminology and glossaries, managing the liaison setting and interacting with the parts.

In the class, students will serve as interpreters in interpreting sessions dealing with topics prepared at home and discussed within class. Excellent knowledge of Italian and German is mandatory. After each session, the students will receive a detailed, accurate feedback focusing on their strengths, as well as recommendations for improvement.

Exam: liason interpreting session about topics discussed during the term

Teaching tools

Students will be given the texts used during lessons and will have to write a glossary
