A conference interpreter and translator, she has been working as a freelancer since 1983. Bilingual in German and Italian, she also works with English. She has worked and continues to work in many sectors, ranging from the Ministry of the Interior, Health and Defence to European and international institutions; from RAI to Sky and Mediaset; from various religious institutions to the Holy See; and from trade unions to employers’ organisations. - Since 1984, she has combined her work as an interpreter and translator with teaching, having had the opportunity to collaborate with various leading Italian universities. - Following an initial two-year collaboration with the then SSLiMIT in Forlì in the late 1990s, she returned to work as an Adjunct Professor at the DIT (Department of Interpreting and Translation) at the University of Bologna’s Forlì campus, a position she has held from the 2008–2009 academic year to the present day.
