Adoption of adequate improvement measures

The self-assessments of the Degree Programmes and the analyses of the Faculty-Student Joint Committees make it possible to:

  • identify good practices that can be replicated and applied in other contexts;
  • identify reasons for unsatisfactory results and plan corrective actions with the Departments and Schools (if any) in order to make improvements.

Based on the available data and the considerations specific to each case, each Degree Programme defines an action plan for improvement. Preparation of this plan also makes it possible to monitor systematically the progress made on the actions planned during earlier reviews.

At University level, the Quality Committee not only supports the periodic review of the Degree Programmes, but also monitors implementation of the quality policies established by the Academic bodies and the effectiveness of the actions to improve learning activities implemented by other parties, making any relevant observations.
