Sponsor and stakeholders of the Imola branch

Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Imola

Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Imola, established by Monte di Pietà di Imola (1512-1940) and Cassa di Risparmio di Imola (founded in 1855), is mainly active in the provinces of Bologna and Ravenna, and especially in the New District of Imola. Ever since it was founded, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Imola has contributed to the success and development of the Imola branch of the University of Bologna through substantial investments, making facilities and infrastructure available for teaching and research activities, and launching initiatives that benefit students, thus becoming the main sponsor of the Alma Mater in Imola.

AUSL (local public health service)

The AUSL (local public health service) of Imola is a strategic partner of the Imola branch of the University of Bologna, since all medical degree programmes are conducted in agreement with the local public health service of Imola. At its Training Centre, the local public health service of Imola also makes several facilities available for medical degree programmes and collaborates in a number of specific, cross-cutting initiatives carried out at the Imola branch.

The Comune di Imola (municipality of Imola)

The Comune di Imola, with a population of more than 70,000, is the largest municipality by area and the second largest by population, after Bologna, in the Metropolitan City of Bologna. The municipal administration and the Imola branch of the University of Bologna have teamed up to develop a number of guidance, cultural and citizenship awareness initiatives and activities aimed at enhancing local resources, and to promote increasingly high standards in student services, as well as to ensure that the Alma Mater community has access to opportunities at reduced rates (study areas, mobility, accommodation, sports, etc.).

The CON.AMI consortium

The CON.AMI - Consorzio Azienda Multiservizi Intercomunale is an intermunicipal multi-service consortium formed by 23 Comuni, i.e. municipalities, in 3 Province, i.e. provinces (Bologna, Ravenna and Florence), and 2 Regioni, i.e. regions (Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany). It is responsible for managing services in an integrated manner throughout the area and is a one-of-a-kind consortium in Italy. CON.AMI supports a number of initiatives at the Imola branch of the University of Bologna and acts as a strategic partner in developing the university branch in the Osservanza complex.
