Assessment methods

The assessment methods for this course are:

1. Literature review (70 % of the final grade)
The student will write a critical review of five original research papers on a given topic related to physical training. The topic and more details about this assessment will be given during the course.

2. Individual oral presentation (30 % of the final grade)
The student will be given 15 min to orally present a given topic related to performance analysis. The topic and more details about this assessment will be given during the course.

Calculation of the final grade
The final grade will be calculated as the weighted average of the literature review grade and the individual oral presentation grade (range 0 to 30 cum laude). For the computation of the weighted average, a 30 cum laude grade will be counted as 32. A final grade of 30 cum laude will be given to a weighted average above 30. To pass, a minimum grade of 18 has to be achieved for both the literature review and the individual oral presentation.
