Course contents

The aim of the course is to understand the functioning of a company, specifically its operational and financial dynamics, through the use of the "Business Game".

As part of the "Business Game", the participants are divided into virtual companies, which must guide over time, making decisions within the various functional areas (Sales, Production, Purchasing, R&D, Quality, Human Resources).

The game is structured over periods (which correspond to years of activity) and is designed to alternate classroom moments, with an explanation of the theoretical concepts and comments on the results, with moments when the teams meet separately to develop their strategies.

The alternating phases are:

  1. Explanation of the game and the underlying theoretical assumptions
  2. Decision making
  3. Analysis of the results
  4. Criticality sharing and discussion
