Learning outcomes

By the end of the lactivity, the student is able to use digital resources providing support for studies, teaching and research.

1) Basic concepts

-The capacity for symbolic representation and communication of man

1) Digital culture: the digital cultural heritage

-The normative definition of cultural heritage

- Digital cultural resources on the web (documents, images, videos, software, collection of objects) of museums, libraries, archives and cultural institutions: state of the art

2) The representation of digital resources: the tools

-Definition of digital resource

Teaching methods

Standard and online frontal lessons with the aid of multimedia and video tools. Practical exercises on the search for digital resources of humanistic interest, technical demonstrations, presentation of problems or cases.

Assessment methods

The outcome of the examination is expressed with a judgment of suitability / non-suitability.

The exam consists of an oral interview aimed at evaluating the knowledge and the critical and methodological skills acquired by the student, who will be invited to compare himself with the texts, themes and methodological issues addressed during the course.

The exam will take into account, in particular, the student's ability to know how to orient himself within the sources, the topics covered in class and the exam bibliography to illustrate themes and problems, and to be able to establish links between them.

The mastery of the contents and the ability to synthesize and analyze the themes and concepts and the ability to express oneself adequately and with language appropriate to the subject will be evaluated.

Collaborative online teaching tools to integrate traditional classroom teaching activities: Moodle platform, forum, chat, web conf .. wiki.

Use of contents (textual and multimedia teaching materials, videos, exercises) available to students enrolled on the e-learning platform.
