Learning outcomes

The course requires a sound background in EU Law and aims at offering an in-depth knowledge of the principles of the EU legal order, with particular regard to the functioning of the internal market and of the rights of EU citizens. The highly interactive nature of the course is intended to enhance the analytical skills of the students, as well as their legal reasoning and their oral and written presentation abilities.

Course contents

The programme will cover the free circulations in the single market in the light of the european case law, the competion rules applicable to the undertakings and will analize the role of the member States and the European Institutions in the application of the economic and monetary policy

Teaching methods

Lectures with the discussion of case law and practical cases about the subject.

Assessment methods

The assessment of students takes place through an oral examination designed to evaluate the knowledge acquired by the student during the course and the critical analysis developed by the studying of case law.

Teaching tools

Lectures will be supported by the presentation of slides throgh the use of the projector and the PC.
