Learning outcomes

At the end of the internship the student has the knowledge and the ability to manage the technical work in the workshop under the supervision of the tutor. He knows the range of prostheses and orthoses in the panorama of orthopedic techniques; is able to understand what is specified in the medical prescription and is also able to choose the most appropriate materials for the construction of prostheses and orthoses.

Description of the main operating machines and analysis of the technical data sheets and related risks
Description of the main materials and technical data sheets and related risks
Tests on grinders
Use of plaster and plaster bandages
Lamination with resins

Repair a wheelchair tire,
