I attended ITIS with a specialization in computer science, these were pioneering times and tapes and punched cards were used and the programming language was Fortran IV. I graduated with full marks and immediately started working as an assembler programmer on the micro 6005 motorola and 8080 intel. I made the automation software for military devices and steel mills and I specialized on microprocessors. During my military service I enrolled in electronic engineering. During my first university years I worked as an ITP at an ITIS. As a graduate, I initially worked as a HW / SW designer in railway signaling and then as an electronic manager in an automation company. In 1992 I arrived at INAIL where I designed the first digital control electronics for prostheses. Since 1998 I have been dealing with home automation and technological aids for the disabled. I have followed several national and international research projects and since 2000 I have been an adjunct professor in various universities
