Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student will have a basic knowledge of the physiology of nutrition. Particularly, the homeostasis of body weight, the neural and hormonal control of feeding and energetic metabolism will be explained. The student will also have a basic knowledge of the central nervous circuitry controlling feeding behaviour and also how the autonomic nervous system can influence all the physiological control of nutrition.
