At the end of this course, the student will have knowledge of information theory, as well as decision and estimation theories, and their practical applications to encoding and decoding techniques.

The final exam is organised as an oral verification.
During the colloquium, both practical and theoretical questions will be formulated.
The student is expected to show familiarity with the fundamental concepts of communications theory, with an ability to prove statements and apply the concepts to practical applications.
