Specific learning outcomes The study course in Applied Econometrics is optional for students of the second level degree courses in International Diplomatic Science (SID). Given the student's interest in the area of politics, the course in Applied Econometrics is aimed to present the methodologies used for the elaboration of the quantitative models, which are an essential instrument to empirically measure the effects of policies and to assess their efficacy. Hence the synergy of the EA course with the other economic and politological studies offered within the second level degree courses. The course approach is mainly applicatory. There is a session of 8 practical laboratory exercises (20 hours) in which the student makes use of a PC to carry out empirical analyses with the support of the tutor.
Metodi didattici
20 hours of dedicated classes will be devoted to the use of the STATA software.
