- Docente: Mauro Branchini
- Credits: 1
- Language: Italian
- Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures
- Campus: Bologna
- Corso: First cycle degree programme (L) in Physiotherapy (cod. 8476)
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will acquire basic knowledge on the use of the main radiological investigation techniques. He will be able to read diagnostic imaging investigations (traditional radiology, CT, ultrasound, MRI) related to alterations of physiotherapy interest in some body districts.
Course contents
Imaging in radiodiagnostics: generalities and definition of investigation techniques in Traditional Radiology and Digital Radiology, in Ultrasound, CT (with soft tissue window or bone tissue window; with coronal and sagittal multiplanar reconstructions; with three-dimensional reconstructions), in RM (with different scans, sequences and weighings), in Scintigrafia (PET): differences between the various techniques and different applications.
