Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the stedent will be able to understand how organizations and their members are reciprocally influenced.

The course faces theories and methods related to the main organizational problems, through concepts like motivation, organizational behavior, decision, communication, influence, conflict, and cooperation. The analisys of the relationship between identities and organization will contribute to complete the student leaning process.

The book for this course is the following: R. Kreitner & A. Kinicki, "Comportamento organizzativo. Dalla teoria all'esperienza". Apogeo, 2013.

Teaching methods

The course is highly interactive and is based on a variety of case studies, video material, role playing games, group presentations, and the reproduction of fundamental experiments on social sciences

Assessment methods

Students not-attending class:  The exam is based on a writen form and it is composed by 15 multiple choice questions to be completed within 45 minutes.

Students attending class:
Students are expected to attend classes regularly.In addition, students - organized in small groups of 5 people - are invited to complete and to present one assignment during the course.

Evaluation criteria are the following: 

- 35%: class presentation of the assignment. 

- 65%: written test composed of 15 multiple choice questions.

Participation to teamwork is mandatory, otherwise students will lose their status of 'attendance student'. Those who attend the class will also have the opportunity to make an intermediate test at the end of first month of class

The course is highly interactive and is based on a variety of case studies, video material, role playing games and the reproduction of fundamental experiments on decision behavior. Course material and presentations will be published online on the Alma DL platform.
