Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students must be able to talk about the
pathologies learned during the lessons; they must know specific
treatments and therapies and set up specific therapeutic paths
Course contents
Treatment of Post Traumatic Injuries of Lower Limb
The lessons will focus on the following topics:
1 Principles of bone metabolism, principles of fractures.
2 Femoral neck fractures and surgical treatments
3 Complications of fractures
4 Tibial plateau fractures: from diagnosis to treatment
5 Ankle fractures and ankle sprains: from diagnosis to treatment
6 Patellar tendon Injuries and quadriceps tendon: Anatomy, Epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment
7 Achilles tendon injuries: Anatomy, Epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment
8 Lesion of ACL , PCL, MCL and meniscal injuries: Anatomy, Epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment
