Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student: - possesses the fundamental knowledge of national and community legislation, as well as the deontological aspects necessary for the exercise of the professional activity, with particular reference to the "Farmacia dei servizi"; - possess the knowledge and multidisciplinary skills useful for carrying out first-level analytical services, carrying out tests with in vitro diagnostics, administering vaccines and using instrumental devices for second-level services that can be provided in pharmacies; - possesses the skills relating to digital health, health and management information technology.

Course contents

The evolution of the pharmacist profession and of the activity of pharmacies in the primary care sector: the birth of the so-called Farmacia dei Servizi. The objectives, the new assistance functions provided and the integration with the activities on the territory of the National Health Service. The regulatory framework: Law no. 69/2009, Legislative Decree no. 153/2009 and the implementing decrees (Ministerial Decree of 16.12.2010 and 8.7.2011). The services that can be provided by pharmacies after the Covid-19 pandemic.
