Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students should know the essentials of the German grammar. They should be able to understand and produce written and oral texts and to manage simple communicative situations.
Course contents
The course is aimed at allowing students to achieve a good level of linguistic and communicative competence by promoting the four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.
The whole course is composed of a 40-hour lecture and 20 hours of laboratory work dedicated to grammar, practicing spoken and written German.

The materials will be made available online on the platform "Virtuale".
Teaching methods
Students should attend at least 70% of the lectures.
For students who need supplementary didactic support a personalized tutoring is available
Assessment methods
Examination
The final exam consists of a:
Written test – grammar test
Oral test - reading comprehension and conversation about the topics of the course. Sitting for the oral exam is subject to passing the written exam.
The evaluation will be based on the assessment of the four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.
The module is part of the course "LINGUA E COMUNICAZIONE (SECONDA LINGUA TEDESCA) (C.I.)" and the final mark will result from the average of the marks obtained in the two courses.
