Learning outcomes

At the end of the module, the student uses computer tools correctly and has the necessary basis for the interpretation and execution of technical drawings; he/she is able to execute assigned tables using a computer-aided drawing programme. He/she knows the standards to be used for the correct representation of particular assembly drawings.

Course contents

Fundamentals of drawing: positional analysis, coordinates in the plane and in space, general conventions of technical drawing. Drawing tools: computer graphics tools, characteristics of computer-aided drawing, autocad. Geometric constructions. Projection methods. Cad 3D. Orthogonal projections. Axonometry. Flipping and development. Sections and intersections. Perspective. Shadows. Electrical and mechanical machine drawings.
