  • Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures
  • Campus: Bologna
  • Corso: Single cycle degree programme (LMCU) in Medicine and Surgery (cod. 5904)

Learning outcomes

The students acquire methodological and application-oriented skills to integrate their knowledge in the topics of the Chemistry and Biochemistry lectures.

Course contents

Computer exercises with the assistance of a tutor aimed at integrating the Metabolic Biochemistry lessons relating to cellular signal transduction.

Laboratory of Biochemistry of Signal Transduction Biochemistry

computer exercises relating to signal transduction using the "Jove" database and the "KAHOOT!" App for further information and to carry out a final self-assessment on learning. Basic knowledge of G protein-mediated signal transduction is integrated through clinical case examples.

Teaching methods

Tutorial teaching in groups in a computer room.

In consideration of the type of activity and the teaching methods adopted, attendance of this training activity requires the prior participation of all students in Modules 1 and 2 of training on safety in the places of study, in e-learning mode.
