Learning outcomes

"The students understand contemporary issues in one of the most critical of all management activities: the planning and management of projects of any size. By the end of the course, the students are able to: • - Describe the skills needed in today's dynamic environment to successfully define, plan and manage projects; • - Schedule and allocate resources to a project, and to conduct a cost analysis; • - Understand the concept of the Means-Ends Chain and the Hierarchy of Objectives; • - Develop the work breakdown structure (WBS), and the various techniques in the Critical Path Method (CPM). "

Teaching methods

Theoretical lessons will be integrated with a video movie clips, a witness about a real life case history and a visit to a relevant industrial company.

A visit to the Automobili Lamborghini Spa plant in S. Agata Bolognese is scheduled for 26 April 2023.

Assessment methods

The written exam will be a case to solve with the planning tools and one or more theoretical questions in alternative a close answer test, issued by digital tool can replace the case.

75% of the evaluation will take place from the exam and 25% from the group case developed in the classroom.

The test assessment grid will be as follows:

<18 insufficient

18-23 sufficient

24-27 average/good

28-30 very good

30 cum laude excellent/outstanding
