Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student must possess skills that extend and strengthen the operational and research methods of nursing and midwifery sciences acquired in the first cycle in relation to the use of information systems and database management.
Course contents
General aspects of the IT software used for the collection and processing of health data, in particular the Microsoft Office package.
The work environment and use of the Spreadsheet: formatting, formulas, functions, pivot tables and graphic representations.

Assessment methods
The exam aims to verify the achievement of the following educational objectives:
• in-depth knowledge of the IT tools illustrated during the lessons
• ability to use these tools to organize and analyze data in tables, reports and databases
The exam is carried out in written form and is graded out of thirty.
