84983 - Radioterapy Techniques (BO)

Academic Year 2023/2024

  • Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures
  • Campus: Bologna
  • Corso: First cycle degree programme (L) in Imaging and Radiotherapy techniques (cod. 9079)

Learning outcomes

The student acquires the ability to apply radioradiotherapy techniques, acquire anatomical-densitometric data, positioning, immobilization, treatment simulation, field conformation, protocol for data entry and related compilation of the digital radiotherapy record. The student is also able to acquire advanced techniques of treatment execution, methods of treatment field customization, and treatment verification execution techniques. The role of therapeutic radiographer and the psychological aspects of radiotherapy: working issues in the relationship with the cancer patient.
