34719 - Electric Measurements

Academic Year 2023/2024

  • Docente: Gaetano Pasini
  • Credits: 9
  • SSD: ING-INF/07
  • Language: Italian
  • Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures
  • Campus: Bologna
  • Corso: First cycle degree programme (L) in Electrical Energy Engineering (cod. 5822)

Learning outcomes

The course provides students with main concepts related to: - Metrology and measurement theory - Signal conditioning and acquisition - Operation of the main digital measuring instruments - Measurement methods for signals and electrical quantities - Main measurements and tests on electrical machines and systems Students will be able to apply the knowledge acquired to measurement systems in order to understand their operation (if necessary by consulting the technical manuals of the measurement equipment used), use them correctly, determine the uncertainty to be associated to the obtained measurement results (both directly or indirectly) and, if necessary, appropriately describe its purpose, use and operating limits.
