Course contents

The aim of the course is to approach the main themes and problems of Italian linguistics, taking into account the needs of future kindergarten and primary school teachers, as drawed in the National Guidelines (MIUR, 2012).

In particular, we will focus on a critical revision of basic knowledge of Italian grammar, starting with sentence syntax.

The concepts of linguistic norm and usage, the different varieties of Italian, and text types will be reflected upon.
