The Skeletal System:

  • The skull: bones of the cranium and bones of the face
  • Tempora, Zygomatic and Spheno-maxillary fossa
  • Joints: Temporal Mandibular Articulation
  • Muscles: Masticatory, Face and Neck muscles
  • Tongue
  • Farynx
  • Larynx
  • Fasciae of neck

Salivary Glands:

  • Sublingual and submaxillary and Parotid glands
  • Minor buccal Glands

The Blood -Vascular and Lymphatic System of head and neck

The Nervous System:

  • The Brain and Cranial Nerves
  • The Autonomic Nervous System

Dental system:

  • Oral cavity: walls and its contents.
  • Dental gums and periodontium
  • Theeth

Assessment methods

Oral interview, the student must demonstrate acquired knowledge of systematic and topographical anatomy of the various organs.

The result is graduated from 18/30 to 30/30. The minimum grade is achieved by a non-thorough knowledge of the subject, 19 to 25 for a fair knowledge, 26 to 29 for a good knowledge, while 30 represents a great knowledge and "cum laude" is added in case of excellence.

The result is integrated with the Pathological Anatomy, Pharmacology, Internal Medicine and Neurophysiology Courses.

The final evaluation takes into account the grades of the entire Integrated Course.
