The student acquires in depth CT neuroanatomy, Neuroangio - CT and Interventional neuroradiology, radiation protection of operators and patients.
Course contents
Antomy of the intra and extra cranial Cerebrovascular System
The different techniques of Interventional Neuroradiological treatment, both endovascular and percutaneous, will be presented.
Digital angiography and technological update
CT and studies aimed at guiding interventional procedures
CT angiography and perfusion CT techniques and their rationale in emergency and elective cerebral vascular malformation and steno-occlusive pathologies
Materials and medical devices for endovascular treatments of vascular malformations
Materials and medical devices for endovascular treatments of ischemic stroke
Materials and medical devices for percutaneous spinal treatments

The verification of learning takes place through a final exam which ascertains the acquisition of the expected knowledge and skills by carrying out a written test which includes forced choice questions with 5 alternative answers (or open questions on topics relating to the main objectives of the Course ).
