Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student has acquired the basic knowledge on tissue engineering and computer-assisted surgery in the orthopedic field. The student is be able to manage the main conservative and surgical therapeutic options, the principles of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of traumas affecting the musculoskeletal system with particular attention to the most innovative technological solutions.

Course contents

In this elective course, students will be able to develop their skills in the latest surgical techniques for the approach of hip, knee and ankle pathologies.

Students will be able to understand and evaluate how new technologies, artificial intelligence and robotics are increasingly assuming an important role in orthopedic surgery.

The achievement of eligibility is subject to attendance at lessons for at least 90% of the course.
